Banks have announced new interest rates for the month of Bhadra. Starting from the 1st of Bhadra, which falls on Friday, these new interest rates will come into effect. The banks have set various public interest rates. Among them, 20 banks , 12 banks have raised their interest rates. Four banks, on the other hand, have maintained their interest rates. For the month of Bhadra, banks have increased the interest rates on personal fixed deposits, with some reaching a maximum of 10.896%. Most banks have determined an interest rate of 10.896% for the month of Bhadra. A total of 12 banks have interest rates higher than 10%.
In Bhadra, the banks that are raising interest rates include Agricultural Development Bank Limited, Kumari Bank Limited, Global IME Bank Limited, Nepal Bank Limited, Sanima Bank Limited, Prabhu Bank Limited, Laxmi Sunari Bank Limited, Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited, Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited, Citizens Bank Limited, Everest Bank Limited, and Siddhartha Bank Limited. Similarly, NIC Asia Bank Limited, Standard Chartered Bank Limited, Prime Commercial Bank Limited, and NMB Bank Limited have reduced their interest rates for the month of Bhadra.
Nabil Bank Limited, Nepal Investment Bank Limited, Nepal SBI Bank Limited, and Himalayan Bank Limited have maintained stable interest rates for the month of Bhadra.
